Noticed a broken spring on my garage door last evening. I called the Northland Door office this morning and let them know I needed it repaired. Less than an hour later, I got a call that the technician would be there before noon, and by 11 he was there. The repair was complete in about 30 minutes, with new springs, better door adjustment, lubrication where needed, and much quieter door operation. Impressive!

Your company recommendation came from my brother, when I unexpectedly had a major problem with my garage door. I was surprised that a company near where I grew up (Merrimac) would come to Madison, where I live now.I was impressed that a technician could come and look at the problem within a day of calling.The technician(#85) was able to solve/fix the problem within 20 minutes. He also was able to explain how the problem was fixed and give future recommendations to my young adult niece (in my absence). This was done well enough so that, I believe, she remembered most of what he told her and could report back. That is impressive! Thank you!

I called to report a cable problem. The spring was broken and needed to be replaced. Logan, the service technician showed up the same day. he was very professional and friendly. He even fixed some issues with the radiofrequency delay so the remote garage opener would work better. I was very appreciative of the service and would recommend Northland to anyone who needs garage door service.

The service from this company has been unbelievably good, enough so that I had to write a review to recommend them. The house I bought in Merrimac (in 2003) already had an automatic garage door, and thankfully it had the sticker on it for who to contact for repairs. Last year (2022), I had a chain issue and wanted to upgrade the motor, so I called the sticker's number and, sure enough, they were still in business and had my house's address on file from when the house was built in the 1990s. The engineer who did the new install (Cody) was very nice, and worked fast. Then, about 9 months later, I needed a service on the sensor, and they responded with a service call within a couple days (Logan), and he was also very nice and efficient, and fixed the issue right away. No charge! (1-year warranty) Then, without me even asking, they sent another guy (Garth) to do an improvement that I didn't even know needed done, and also at no charge because of the 1-year warranty. What I appreciate most about Northland Doors is that I've now gone 3-for-3 on excellent, friendly, and efficient engineers who've done the work. They must really put an emphasis on hiring quality people, and for that I say, "Thank you."

I am very happy with the service from Northland…not so much with the opener they installed. It’s a Linear and the remote openers are hypersensitive…if you don’t depress the button for .476 seconds the door starts to open or close then stops. .476 seconds and you’re A-OK 😉

Backed into my door like an idiot. Technician came and fixed it in short order. Displayed exceptional customer service skills. Then a few months later door was making a bunch of noise. The same technician came and resolved problem (free of charge because work still under warranty.) He was super up-front about the fix actions, and gave me directions on how to care for door in the future. I don't remember his name but if he asks for a raise I recommend you give him one. He is the epitome of who you want representing your business on the job sites.

Northland replaced the old garage door opener in my house. They installed a new opener that is affordable and works great. A few weeks after the install, I noticed that it was getting a little noisy, so I asked them to come back. They came back right away and made some adjustments. That was 6 months ago. It's been quiet ever since. The installer was friendly, knowledgeable, and had the customer's best interest in mind. I highly recommend Northland.

I am very happy with the work done by Northland Door Systems. I am adding a new wing to my house, and needed an extension added to my whole house vacuum cleaner. This was complicated by my contractor's need for part of this extension to be added right away, and the rest of the extension completed at a later date. They happily came right away. Then they came back to finish the job, after my contractor was ready. They were pleasant and punctual. The extension works correctly. I could not be happier, and highly recommend Northland Door Systems.

I would definitely recommend Northland Door Systems to a friend or family member, especially if they have an existing Wayne Dalton garage door. Their office staff and service technicians are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My garage door needed a new bottom seal retainer and spring, and instead of recommending I replace the entire garage door like another garage door company did, they came out and fixed what was needed.

We called for service on Monday and Beth then Heather worked to make sure that we got scheduled in a timely manner. Within less than 48 hours we had their Service person Garth Hand working on our door. Garth was very knowledgable, he appraised the situation and made the repairs and even wipe the hand smudges off the door. And also he oiled all the hinges and the roller. Now the garage door is truly whisper quiet. Thank you Northland Doors, Thank you Beth, Thank you Heather and definitely a big Thank you to Garth Hand. Great job, great company.
